10.    Be careful  how you cook food – grill instead of frying

2. Medication:

Medication to correct cholesterol levels is usually avoided unless absolutely necessary.  Your doctor is the best person to advise you on this and she/he will not usually prescribe medicine until all other options have been looked at.
